ADHD/ADD
Today, more and more children are being labeled with ADHD or ADD, but in many cases, this is not their real problem, it's merely a symptom of something else.
So what's their real problem?
The fact that the child has difficulty in the classroom or at home is obvious,
the teachers see it as well as the parents.
Unfortunately, in many cases, the difficulty translates into a generic diagnosis called Attention Deficit Disorder, but in many cases, no one cares to examine in depth and asking the simple question; Why is it difficult to pay attention.
In our children's developing brain, there are communication networks that are supposed to convey information efficiently and quickly. Failure to transmit this information in the proper timing may interfere with our child's ability to receive, understand and decode information.
Many children face such difficulties, some get tired of coping and are distracted, some interfere with the class and some are simply silent and ashamed to explain that they it's difficult for them.
To identify the source, the parents complete a detailed questionnaire about the child, and Dr. Winter performs a very thorough examination and diagnosis in which several systems and subsystems are scanned.
After diagnosing and identifying the source of the difficulty, it is easier to direct the family to the appropriate forms of treatment.
